CTC (India) Private Limited was founded in 1983 as a joint venture between a small manufacturing company based in Gardena, California to manufacture printed circuit board drills and routers for the US market. The Company shipped its first products in 1984. As the volumes grew it became necessary to develop new relationships to market and sell our products in the US and overseas market. CTC (India) Private Limited defined its OEM – Centric Export Strategy in 1992 and since then we have been working primarily as a B2B enterprise with customer base in USA, Japan, China and Hong Kong.
CTC (India) currently produces over 1.4 million tools of tight tolerance a month and meets or exceeds all of customers quality and delivery parameters. Its 50,000 square feet facility is modern, air conditioned with all back-up services such as back-up power generation, ground water wells, moisture-free compressed-air, centralized oil filtration, etc. all on the premises. CTC employs about 265 people at its facilities in Jamshedpur, India – all of them college graduates or a college diploma. While sales have grown manpower strength has been relatively stable, signifying a productivity growth of five fold in the last decade.
CTC currently deploys over 50 Swiss made precision CNC’s and also deploys several custom made machine tools designed and fabricated in-house. CTC work force is experienced, innovative and dynamic with a dedicated approach towards consistent quality and production techniques. Their knowledge and skills, at all levels, are upgraded with on-the-job training, classroom training and overseas visits to keep pace with changing technologies.
CTC (India) Private Limited recognizes that it gains ground only when the pace of change inside the company is greater than the pace of change outside the company. In line with this philosophy, the Company has been investing heavily in new production equipment, processes and training of it personnel. It is continually seeking newer products and markets to build upon its successes and to provide its managers and associates with ever new challenges.
